Urban photography - Aachen, Germany - Camp Pirotte

We could have stayed at Camp Pirotte in Aachen (Germany) for hours. It's a perfect place for urban photography. Unfortunately, Koen had an appointment and so we left the former Belgian barracks. Just before departure, I took this picture. I could not resist. Of course I could not. Koen just had to wait.

The photo

This is a nice close-up of a broken window with some bricks in the foreground. Probably carefully laid down by other urban explorers ;) The composition seems pretty okay. But in my opinion the depth of field is just too small. I am curious how the photo would be with the rear fragments still sharp.
